FAQs

Q1. What is Samayvidya?

Samayvidya is a platform to help you make better sense of the ongoing situations and broader journey of your life through Jyotishya, also known as Vedic Astrology.

It’s a sacred part of Sanatana Dharma and aims to help people achieve spiritual realization.

Q2. Am I eligible to get a reading from Samayvidya?

Yes. The author is here to help you if your queries/concerns align with Samayvidya’s terms & conditions.

Q3. What are the conditions for acceptance of a reading request?

Due to author's tight schedule & timelines, he accepts reading requests based on slot availability, nature of inquiry, and clarity of the question(s) etc.

If your query sounds legit, your request will be accepted, and a unique SR Number will be sent to you within 24-48 hours. This Number is important for all future communications.

Q4: What if I submitted my details but still didn’t receive the SR Number?

If you did not receive the SR Number even after 48 hours of submission, it means that your request could not be accepted in the current timeframe.

PS: Please check your Spam/Junk folder as it’s possible that samayvidya's email is stuck there.

Q5. I've a question: My Saturn is in the 6th House. What can I infer?

I am flooded with questions about what a particular placement or configuration signifies.

Social media is good for sharing tidbits of information. But it is no substitute for a comprehensive analysis of your chart.

No single placement can fully decide your karmic route. Like all other sciences, astrology is replete with rules and exceptions. Only seasoned practitioners would know how to apply the rulebook judiciously.

Each person’s chart is unique and has its own idiosyncrasy. Generalizing the placements may lead to incorrect interpretation.

Astrology is a divine science and there’s a good reason why its sanctity must be maintained.

Q.6 What are the reasons for not responding to questions on Twitter?

Astrology is a divine science. The astrologer must be in the right physical and mental state while responding to questions. Certain occurrences, if manifested during the interactions, are considered ominous.

Therefore, as a responsible astrologer, the author may decide to not take up questions at a certain time. Also, it’s in your own best interest to approach astrologers in a proper manner.

Q7. I follow Samayvidya’s author on Twitter. I have noticed that a few astrological observations do not apply on my horoscope.

The author makes general observations based on his analysis of all the horoscopes he has read. His tweets only indicate probabilities. They may or may not work for you.

Astrology is a complex subject and only comprehensive analysis of your chart can help make observations specific to you.

Q8. Can I seek the author's view on my specific planetary position on twitter?

Not recommended. Piecemeal information, whether pleasant or not, presents an incomplete (and sometimes misleading) picture.

Only a comprehensive analysis of your chart can give you the full story. If interested, please place a request on samayvidya.in/contact

Q9. Can I consult my family astrologer/ KulPurohit/ Favorite astrologer?

Yes, as they are the first Nodal Officer and are aware of the karmic cycle within a family. As the custodian of the horoscopes of your family, they are well-positioned to interpret your chart with more clarity.

Q10. Can I place multiple reading requests on the Samayvidya website?

Please avoid this as the system may automatically block such requests.

The author processes the requests based on slot availability. Kindly be patient if there’s a delay in response from him.

As mentioned above, if you did not receive the SR Number even after 48 hours of submission, it means that your request could not be accepted in the current timeframe.

Q11. Can I send a reading request via Twitter Direct Message (DM)?

Yes, you can DM the author with your Service request. For the same you have to represent your request on samayvidya website and once accepted in line with Samayvidya’s regulations you can Dm with the Service request Number.

Q12. Can I send him Direct message (DM) casually?

A devised mechanism on samayvidya website has been promulgated for swift communications with the serious querents hence the best way to reach out is via samayvidya website.

Q13. How is my information being used?

Please refer to the ‘Privacy Policy’ & ‘Terms of Use’ at the Samayvidya website for more on how the information you have shared is being used.
