WHAT IS RAHU

Rahu is a criminal who is materialistic & an illusion (Maya) created by the cosmic creator Shri Vishnu, he confers materialistic gains only to distract our attention away from the 12H pursuits (Re-Birth/Spiritual achievement etc). Basically Rahu tempts us to get stuck in 11H affairs (Bhav Sagar/The sea of Materialism) because in the natural zodiac It rules the 11H (A Saturn guided missile who is much better in 11H). Above else when it gives lots of sorrows & desperations then actually it burns one's bad karma & propels the native towards spirituality & surrender to God. Please understand it's not bad, We take them bad.

As per Vedic Scriptures say राहुर्बाहुबलं करोतु सततं Means Rahu who imbues strength continuously.

F-E-A-R - has two meanings :-

1 - 'Forget everything and Run' - (This is signified by Rahu as Rahu is Interloper) .

2 - 'Face Everything and Rise' -(This is signified by Ketu because Ketu can't see as Ketu is like an infantry man and he is engaged in close-range combat ). Rahu's close relationship with Saturn can be seen from the fact that it represents UltraViolet light, which falls just before the Violet light of the visible spectrum, represented by Saturn. In this way Rahu can be seen as a higher octave of Saturn. The fact that UltraViolet light is not visible to human eyes highlights the more mysterious functioning of Rahu as compared to Saturn. Rahu is instrumental in strengthening the power and can convert enemies into friends. It is popularly called the planet of success.

Rahu does not affect materialistic pursuits adversely during the Transit, as he is very fond of sensual pleasures. Rahu being an illusory planet, possesses a basic Mercurial nature with some spice added to it. Some Seers postulate that Buddha (Mercury) has a quarter influence of the Nodes attached to it even when it has no relation with them in a chart.

Scriptures say

आदित्यादी ग्रहाः सर्वाः ,संहकेया वशं गताःI

This means that all the 7 planets are obedient to Rahu. All the planets are surrendered to Rahu. Whatever you are committing is the inspiration from Rahu. All the worldly desires are created by Rahu. You are never in illusion; it is an illusion( Rahu) that is in you ,let's try to win over the illusions.
