JUPITER TRANSIT AND FALL FROM POSITION (Padavi Thavaruvathu)

This is a fascinating assessment based on the chart of the then PM Vishwanath Pratap Singh (V.P. Singh). left the Prime Minister's post on November 10, 1990 after his coalition government lost the majority. His government collapsed following the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) withdrawing its outside support, which led to a failed vote of no-confidence in the Lok Sabha on November 7, 1990.
It was in his Sukra Bhukti in Sani Dasa (08-05-1972 to 09-07-1975) that this so-called Raja of Manda Sri V.P. Singh entered politics and was made Deputy Minister of Commerce in October 1974 by Indira Gandhi in her cabinet.
The "Raja of Manda" refers to the hereditary rulers of the Manda estate, a historical zamindari (feudal estate) located near Prayagraj (Allahabad) in Uttar Pradesh, India.
The title and legacy are most famously associated with Vishwanath Pratap Singh (V. P. Singh).
V.P. Singh served as India’s 7th Prime Minister from 2 December 1989 to 10 November 1990 and this tenure reshaped Indian politics more than many longer ones. V.P. Singh rode into office on an anti-corruption mandate built around the Bofors howitzer commissions, led the National Front coalition with outside support from the BJP and the Left, and on 7 August 1990 announced implementation of the Mandal Commission report — 27 percent reservation for Other Backward Classes in central government jobs. The decision pulled the BJP into the Rath Yatra mobilization, broke his coalition by November 1990.
Interestingly, when his coalition broke, he was undergoing Jupiter Return (Exalted Jupiter over Natal Exalted Jupiter) followed by Saturn Return and 12th Lord (MD) and 11th Lord AD .
There is a very interesting Rule in Tamil Texts called - Jupiter’s transit in 10th from Moon is known as “Padavi Thavaruvathu” known to cause instability or loss of position/status.

it is widely regarded as a challenging period marked by heavy workload, significant professional stress, sudden job shifts/ transfers, and friction with authorities or superiors.
It is generally not considered a favourable or smooth phase for steady career growth and momentum.
When VP Singh, left the Prime Minister's post on Nov 10 1990, after his coalition government lost the majority, he was undergoing through Padavi Thavaruvathu” known to cause instability or loss of position/status (illustrated in his chart)
This is the beauty of Astrology. It is harsh but facts cannot be denied. The operative Dasha was that of Mercury-Venus. Mercury is the 12th lord, while Venus is the 11th lord (12th from the 12th). As I mentioned earlier, the 11th lord is capable of delivering the best results followed by the worst, and the worst followed by the best. This is the house of Rudra, who is both merciful and wrathful. In this case, the Dasha, transits, and Saturn return all supported the events. This also proves that Jupiter return is not always beneficial, especially when it forms a bad transit from the Moon.
