Red Karveer(Oleander) Miracle: Even One Flower Outshines a Thousand Lotuses

The Sun is the primary Pratyaksha Devta who holds the divine power to bestow all blessings. All the collective Karmas itself is the cause of the sun’s movement across the skies and of the moon’s waxing and waning cycles. So, this entire universe comprising the movable and the immovable appears real owing to karma and its effects Or we can say that the collective karmas of all humans decide the movement of the planets and the results they give.

Mahadev mentioned in a discourse that -

उच्चरत्करवीरेति न तथा कोटिजाप्यतः।

प्रीतिः स्यात्करवीरस्य न तथा याति भास्कर॥

Means By merely uttering the word “Karaveera” (करवीर), one attains the fruit equivalent to a crore japas.

The pleasure/satisfaction that Surya Dev, derives from Karaveera is not obtained by him in the same way from any other offering.

One Karveer (oleander flower) is equivalent to a thousand red lotuses. For each flower, even in inferior rites, the spiritual merit is obtained of equivalent of Ashwmedha yagna.

Reservations of offering Surya Arghya :-

i) One should offer Arghya by collecting Gangajal filled in Tamrapatra (Copper Vessel ) or earthen pot ,Karveer Flower/Hibiscus/Mogra etc. ,Durva Grass ,Akshat (Unbroken rice) in morning as well as in evening confers immense blessings and prosperity from surya Dev.

ii) Sun Prayer Assuming the Duration of any ascendant as 2 hrs ; The Sun would be in 1H when Born between 5-7 AM & in 12H if born between 7AM to 9AM Both houses are good for Spiritual activities & praying to Sun ; that's why Sun chanting has advised at sharp 8 AM because Mantra chanting done at a particular time by a large number of people immediately bestows a heightened spiritual experience touching the soul of the person.

iii) Mantra Recitation have been analysed to be energy-based sounds & voicing a word or a sound produces a physical vibration. Mantras thus create thought-energy waves, and the organism vibrates in tune with the energy and spiritual appeal of a chant. When a mantra is chanted rhythmically, it creates a neuro-linguistic effect.

iv) The sacred chanting of Sanskrit Mantras provide us with the power to attain our goals and lift ourselves from the ordinary to the higher level of consciousness. They give us the power to cure diseases; ward off evils; gain wealth; acquire supernatural powers; worship a deity for exalted communion n for attaining blissful state and attain liberation.

v) It is important to have complete faith in the recitation of mantras ,aided by strong will -that one achieves one's goals. A sound body and calm mind are essential for the chanter of mantras. Once you are free from all worries and have achieved stability in mind and body.

vi) You will derive maximum benefit through the recitation of mantras. You must have a definite object in view and a strong will power to obtain the desired objective and then direct that will to achieve the goal.

P.S.-The Glory of Mantra chanting cannot be established through reasoning and intellect although It can be experienced/realized only through devotion, faith and constant repetition of the Mantra at a specific time & with positive vibrations.

Sun mantra should be preceded by Gayatri Mantra (If you have got Brahmopadesham ,you can chant it)
